I have been slow, haven't I. 
Anyway, I was not happy with this, so I left it alone for a long while. Then I tried fixing it and failed. Then I made a completely new sketch. Then I got grumpy because I'd spent so much time on the old one that I went back again to see if I could salvage it... In the end I just uploaded it like this.
This is a part of my Naruto Battlefield series! Many other characters in the same style are in my gallery (in the Fanart category)!

Dude, I gotta say, fucking ace, man. Like, I've seen these drawings around before I had a DA account, always loved 'em, but to actually be able to put this in my favorites folder just fills me with warmth (even if the subject matter is rather sad).
I like how it's drawn, specifically the shading and texturing, even though it's simple I really like it. The only point I'm put out by is the hair. Not how it's shaped or anything conserning form, it's just that the shading is more flat and lacks contrast in comparison to the face, but it isn't the main focus, so I can ignore it. Aside from that, I love it.
